Why is SEKRÈ so rare?
SEKRÈ is a coveted insider brand. Each edition is only produced in a strictly limited number of pieces. Edition sizes are far below those of other luxury brands. This inevitably excludes them for a broad public and for bulk buyers. This restrictive distribution policy benefits our customers, who have also bought SEKRÈ confident that it will increase in value over the long term.

How do price differences between the editions come about?
The price of a SEKRÈ is determined by various parameters. One of the main factors is the popularity of the person from whom the embedded document originates. It is also relevant how many pieces of writing by this person are available on the market at all. Another major determinant is the size of the document: the smaller the document, the fewer parts can be extracted from it. And obviously, demand also has a great influence on pricing.

Why are two different prices being displayed?
The Price at Launch Date is the original issue price at which a bag is brought in the market. In contrast the Actual Price shows what a particular model is currently priced at. It is updated monthly by an algorithm.
The Actual Price takes into account a total of 50 internal and external factors, such as economic indicators and the performance of luxury shares on the stock markets. This allows our customers to track exactly how the value of their bag is developing over time.

All SEKRÈ mystery bags are unique pieces. They are individually numbered and recorded in a notarial deed. Their value results from two special characteristics: Firstly, from the rare original artefact incorporated inside each bag, which exists only once world-wide. Secondly, all bags are grue premium products of traditional craftsmanship - 100% Made in Germany. All bags are made from the finest materials. This inimitable combination makes all Sekrè bags exceptionally rare and valuable.
